Okay I've got something to admit. Now I would prefer it if you commended me on my bravery for admitting this rather than judging me on how crazy it was but anyhow, here goes:
In Peer Support Camp in year 7, I brought my maths book and a few past papers.
Hmm yes, call me crazy but I actually thought I'd use that 'extra' cabin time to do maths papers. I didn't end up doing any, but I do remember opening the book up at least XD Ahh okay now that's off my shoulders, it's come to my realisation that what I post about is quite concrete, sometimes sort of deep and usually a bit weird. And I like it like that. But I've always found myself reading other people's more emotion ridden blogs and I thought I should probably open myself up a little bit. So here's a few things you probably didn't know about me :)
1. I sleep on two pillows- not one on top of another, one behind and one half ontop half off the first pillow. Alright I don't think that made any sense. You know that 'Z' piece in tetris? KINDA LIKE THAT 8D
2. I pick sultanas out of my cereal because I think they're too sweet.
3. I have a memories box where I keep sentimental things and birthday cards.
4. I sleep next to a stuffed bear and a stuffed dog. One on either side. For protection ^^
5. I smell my food before eating it. Hey, you know, what you taste is directly related to what you smell so basically if you're not smelling anything then you ain't eating very tasty food.
6. My lips go red quite easily!
7. I hate the feeling of hating that you like someone TT It plays with your head too much.
8. I laugh when there are awkward silences :D
9. I love it when people openly express how they feel. It doesn't make you weird, only human.
10. I have moments where I'm in the middle of a situation and I suddenly think of some heroic feat I pull out and I save the day. Oh wait, there' s a word for that, daydream.
Hmm there'll be more to come ;)
Ohman I gotta talk about masterchef. I think those judges are biased. So theres a guy called John ( he has a unique voice) but I think he's one of the best cooks there. And theres another guy called Alex ( the dude with black earrings). I think they're both amazing but they didn't make it to the top 24. And yet, the judges put the Rib Eye Steak guy through-who cooked a rib eye lump of steak one and a half times the size of my face on a plate and it was raw. So raw the judges couldn't eat it-it was like carnage on a plate. And he says it was how he usually ate it (awkward silence, cricket noises). Oh and the girl Sun-she got in too. I cant remember her cooking ability but she always looks kinda worried..and dull. OH THE IRONY! This season I want drama on the show. Something 'SCANADLOUS'.
OMG WHO REMEMBERS 'RECESS' -the show on disney channel!!!! And the Ashley's who always chimed SCANDALOUS AHAHAHAHA". Oh wow I think I just found a new tv series to watch

Dear Gravity
See, I told you this would take another post at least. OHH THE PHYSICA EXAM! Okay so I was in the car on the way to school in the morning. For those that live around north rocks/carlo, you know that street off Pennant Hills Road, opposite the Carlo High street, with all the roundabouts and hills? Well at the top of the hill with the traffic lights, yes I know this is very specific here, there was a tarago van and the lights were red. All the cars were waiting for the lights to go green and the tarago infront of us decides to hit the reverse instead of just keeping the brakes on. Now we're halfway up the hill here and she's a comin' down the hill with absolutely no idea she's reversing, or shall I say falling, and I reach out to horn her (repeatedly) yet she still comes a rollin down the hill and bangs into our car. I wasn't really scared at that moment but I was angry. I mean a car comes rolling down, the driver unaware, and just smashes into your car. My dad steps out of the car and goes WHAT THE HELL and the driver just says 'I dunno'. It really got my blood pumping.
And then comes our physics half yearly and the third question and about a million other ones talk about cars rolling down the hill or cars smashing into each other. This isn't a good sign. At all. However, I did have a good answer for explaining the usefulness of crumple zones :D
And in the wise words of Sheldon Cooper:

Flight of Fantasy
Let's put it straight down-I haven't blogged in a very long time. I think I'll need several posts for all the word vomit in my head. And I must say-it's been playing with my head a bit. As you may like to know, I have made some progress with becoming a superhero :D I was watching an episode of Americas Next Top Model and one of the girls had this awesome crystal attached to a chain - sorta like a long necklace. Now this is no ordinary crystal-it's a special type of crystal that if you hold it still over a living person's body, it will begin to rotate continuously in a perfect circle. It's supposed to detect those heat/shock waves from you're body, which in turn make it move. Awesome. Now I shall track down one of those crystals and hold it over the villain's body (once slain) to see if they're really dead.
Anyway, I think the real progress I've made, is how observant I've become. I was at epping on friday after exams, and I noticed this guy in a cap walk strangely down the escalator. He walked towards a girl sitting on the ground and started talking to her before sitting next to her. By her body language, it was obvious that she didn't know him and I spotted his dodgyness before he even made contact with her. First thing with superhero's; be observant and aware of your surroundings. Don't fall into traps but keep your cool-remember they aren't people that cause unnecessary harm. They ain't trolls :)
Well let's see what's happened in the week of our exams: The Royal Wedding, Death of Osama Bin Laden, and Arresting the murderer (uncle) of the Lin family. But I wont talk about that. Closer to home, it is apparent and I say apparent at this stage, that Mr Alder is leaving =\ I'm sure a lot of us would be very sad to see him go but he has been threatening to go for ages now and I'm thinking whether this is the final straw :(
Now my summary of exam week ( and this is my attempt at one of those picture board things XD )
So I walked into english thinking let's own this and when I saw the question, I'm like 'WHAT'S PARADOXICAL??' I actually didn't know what it meant. But you know how the english language goes-break down a few words, do a bit of association and you've kinda got the right idea flowin'. And so I did talk about the irony of this humanly disease we have and how it's just so complex. Then came chemistry and I thought it was pretty okay.
But then came to tuesday with physics and economics. OH how I underestimate the power of PHYSONOMICS! I shall now talk about eco since it seems to have a bit more drama to it. So I looked at the paper and I'm like:
And that question on 'how do governments employ a price ceiling?' And I thought;
AND then it came to maths. OH de matematica. That parallelogram question in 3U made me:
But then I worked from the answer, backwards. OOFT THE GENIUS INSIDE ME CAME ALIVE. And I was like:
And at the thought of learning how to differentiate 3 to the power of x that very morning, I thought:
And by the end of exams, I was galloping down the street pulling moves to my favourite musical numbers like I didn't give a thought to how weird I must've looked 8D And went off to the city with eileen rach will daniel chris and kaichen to eat k bbq YAY :D while unlucky mod people kranked out their history. Exams are over and see those sunnies in the above picture? They're ray bans and I found them on my shelf just then.
Let's have the best time at our last school camp. Continue the tradition and don't sleep. If you have any truths you haven't told then now's the time to tell. It's gonna be one hectic camp, I hope.
xx

HBD
Happy (late) birthday Alex, Saj, Shelley and happy really early birthday to Has lol :)
Sooo was bored and decided to look around and read about the USYD vs UNSW debateee:
USYD seemed to rely on its prestige a lot of attract students, and whilst more social, apparently UNSW is better for education and learning. UNSW however is regionally linked, whereas USYD has links internationally - great for getting a job after university apparently? USYD also has competitions, extracurricular activities whereas UNSW seems a lot more isolated (from what I read / found)
However, for med kids UNSW is the only option sooooo fingers crossed I make it (:
HALFIES ARE OVER :D
We technically haven't been to school for a month.

Happy birthday Saj and Shelley for the 5th (:

Hope you love your Prouds necklaces Alex and Has (:!
