soon we'll be parting our ways and entering uni
im still getting used to being in year 10 - late i know
some will go to sydney, and some to melbourne
can anyone believe how different life will be?
dinner at Jordan's, lunch at Quay
with cars, jumbo handbags, mufti every day
room mates & friends, come as you may.
dorm keepers & exams, best friends and lovers
seems like we just cant live without one another
so we ask ourselves, what happened to junior high
is it really possible 6 years have flown by?
what happened to talking to that guy or girl?
were you too shy? did your finger entwine a curl?
and what about those subjects you could just bludge
and those bday cakes all chocolatey fudge
there comes a stage when we must retire
take out the battery, disconnect the wire
move on to a new life, say hello to campus

yes i wrote it on the spot :) i actually wrote the first stanza without realising it rhymed, so i decided to make it into a poem.can anyone tell me what TYPE of poem it is?
