Beauty-full

I went to have lunch today at a sushi train. Now my dad came along and I get really annoyed when he chooses to. Because he doesn't eat the freaking rice. So this is what he does: He gets his favourite tempura prawn off the train and starts nomnom-ing it and leaves the rice behind. Typical-then I think to myself, this is outrageous-the plate is 3.70 and all you eat is the prawn. And usuallyt I have to eat the rice =( Okay so after that I'm thinking, I need to get revenge because he's probably gonna eat a few of these tempura prawns and give the rice to me. So then I order a BEEF teppan yaki which is basically a plate full of beef, just to get him annoyed. It's so funny seeing his reactions-the waitress places my teppan yaki in front of me and he just jolts and moves towards the person sitting next to him and I say 'Would you like some?' MUHAH-HA-HA. Yes I know my methods are somewhat evilcanevil but trust me, I have good reason to. If someone was vegetarian, I wouldn't do that to them, but you see my dad is not vego, he' just chooses not to eat beef.

Oh another irritating thing-he thinks that if a certain type of cream can be put on eg hands, therefore it can be put all over your body. So today he comes up to me and starts saying "that red cream..(Lucas Paw Paw Ointment which I use only for my lips) is really good.buy me one". I say 'YOU"VE BEEN USING MY PAW PAW CREAM?????!" And he just says 'yeah it's good for my scalp'. S:OIDJFOISDJFIODSJFIODSOIFJSDIO:FJ. He says he's been using it on his lips and on the inside of his mouth..specifically his tongue when he has ulcers or w/e. JSDOIFJIOSDJFIODS:

To everyone feeling stressed: I honestly believe in the whole 'ME time' thing. Yesterday I went to Coles and bought myself: pantene 3minute miracle treatment (3months of damage in just 3 minutes!), Norweigan formula hand cream (just a dab goes a long way!) and Nivea tinted face cream. Altogether it was about $22 and I sure had a great time pampering myself ;) Just a comment:

3min miracle treatment: I have a feeling it's just concentrated conditioner. They said to put a whole tube on your hair for med-long lengthed hair. Honestly, it felt like an oil bath for my hair but I think it does make a bit of a difference. Probably hasn't heeled the 3months of damage just yet.
Hand cream: A dab really DOES go a long way! My hands feel awesome now =P
Nivea tinted face cream: I don't get the whole tinted thing..is it for people who want to reduce their addiction for foundation? The 'tint' doesn't really 'tint' your face but as a moisturiser, I find it pretty good. If you want to wear make up then wear make-up. Wow why did I buy this...

OOH and found a bottle of Dior Cleansing Milk in my mum's cupboard ^^ Well, for now, I've probably got a few too many skin products. Good luck to to our grade for their Ag trials and in particular, all the Year 12's. HAVE A GREAT WEEK!

RumbleRamble

YAYERS sport was cancelled due to the lovely rain and so Chris, Will, Rach and I headed down to Table Eight Yum Cha in Market City to eat lunch! Now I haven't been yum-cha in about 1.5years so the rush of trolleys packed with delicious foods was a bit of a whir. Now I keep wondering about why is it that asians are the ones that eat every single part of the animal? Is it because throwing away a part of an animal would be considered wastage? Mind you, that actually fits quite well with the whole cheap asian image but then I thought is it because every part of the animal is actually nice? I'm not a big fan of the weirder parts of animals myself but I decided to try some cow tendon and found it was actually quite tasty. I think I may have eaten a very small part of a cow lung..which wasn't as nice and the texture made my mouth feel icky. Nevertheless I had a fantabulous time eating bbq pork buns, beef rice paper rolls, fried taro buns and a scallop dumpling.

I had another weird mood episode on Thursday when I found out something about a test and how I betrayed my own trust and put the answer 'everyone else' put down when my answer was actually correct. I went quite the spasmodical and I don't think I could stop talking for a long time. The rain is making me happy because waking up to that soothing sound reminds me of a warm, comforting hug. Okay I got no idea how that relates :P  Onto a controversial topic this week: Daani Saunders, the girl from Crestwood, who took her own life. She had 1700 friends on facebook but was cyber bullied and sadly, she's still being hated on even after her death.  I'm not trying to say that people with a glorious amount of 'friends' don't really know them or anything but to an extent, it goes to show it's quality over quantity =) Someone a while ago came up to me asking how many friends I had on that social network and when it had been revealed I had several hundred less than them, they gave me the O.o look and said 'only?'. I honestly don't give a stuff about how many friends I have on that site.

And yet another food for thought question. Hypothetical situation. A guy has been dating a girl throughout high school and they see each other say once a week (because they go to different schools). They last throughout year 11 and 12. When it comes to uni, he chooses to study Dentistry in Adelaide while she has been accepted into a course at UNSW. She wants to break up because the long-distance relationship wouldn't work for her and thinks she has waited long enough to finally come to the stage where they can see each other almost everyday. He says, they've been doing the 'long-distance' for two years now and still wants to keep it going while they're in two separate states. Which argument is more valid?

OH I cracked up today when Chris said that his mum gave him a nutella and walnut sandwhich. And to that I said, 'THATS COMPLETELY NUTS!!"
Now doesn't the picture below just remind you of a certain thing called the english half yearly?

Hello Folks!

Wow I havent posted in a while and that's because a lot has happened these past few weeks and it's all been a-mounting up and basically I have no idea where to start with my a-rambling. I watched the last Harray Poh-ha on Saturday and HOLY CRICKED wasn't it good. Bluh-day 'ell I thought it was. Right, no more of those stupid phonetic words which, tbh, annoy Miss LJ. We ate at Mizuya and I tried green tea ice cream for the first time :D It was $1 so I got a 'soft serve' of it so I had to get one before and after the movie. On the train ride back, Alex and I were randomly talking when all of a sudden a random dude sitting across from us asks me 'What station was that?'. I look at him, not quite understanding what he mumbled, then Alex goes 'Denistone'. BUT then, the 70yr old man keeps on talking o.O about how "eastwood is the best place to live on earth". o.O At this point, I just nodded my head and continued on with our conversation but then the pedo dude says that I don't look Chinese o.O And that he thought I was Alex's gf (LOL WHAT)o.O Thank goodness the train stops and I leg it >< Alex say's it's interesting to talk to randoms on the train... :L

On Friday I had a lovely day with the girllzz in the city where we shopped and ate at Menya noodle bar :D Afterwards, I went with a family friend to play pool, which was actually my first time!

I hear the rain pouring down down down the gutter and I'm secretly hoping that this will last for tomorrow ;) I do like basketball, but I think my limbs need to get used to walking everywhere around school before Lebron-James can perform at his best on court again ^^ OH I started watching boys over flowers! The drama is giving me the need to watching 90210 all over again. Can't wait till September when everything starts again! Till next time folks.
Here have a lovely reminder of the formal dresses of the blog owners !

Milkis

So I was watching masterchef the other day and they had a challenge where the contestants up for elimination, had to make Vietnamese Rice paper rolls. I understand that the brief was to be as technical with the 'knife skills' but honestly, I think the judges were being unrealistic. When they cut into one of the rolls, they looked at it like this O.O before inspecting the cross-section and fingering out a piece of carrot. WHO DOES THAT? They took out a few bits of sliced carrots and lined them up so as to measure the consistency of each bit of freaking carrot...ARE YOU FREAKING OCD????  JUST EAT THE DAMN ROLL. What counts? THA FLAVA COUNTS. And you know when they have those immunity challenges and the corresponding plate which the chef and contestant cooked is revealed? I wish the judges would stop doing the mexican wave with their eyebrows!! Stop making everything so ddrramahtic! Hmm still, i love the show and hope ellie and billy go all the way to the finals :)

You know what's nice? Lemonade mixed with milk. Add more lemonade parts to milk and stir it together and make this wonderful frothy thing and drink it. It's as simple as that. I'm also loving plaits. Plaited and curled hair. Alrighty, I think I've finished my rant for the day. Good day.

Harry Harry Harry Potter

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2
A picture blogpost in celebration of Harry Potter And the Deathly Hallows Part 2, being released on Wednesday at 12:01am. To our childhood :)
They are simply amazing :)

 Emma Waston - Hermione Granger

Professor Lupin: Now repeat after me -- without wands please -- repeat after me, Riddikulus.

Class: Riddikulus!
Professor Lupin: And again!
Class: Riddikulus!
Malfoy: This class is ridiculous
Daniel Radcliffe - Harry James Potter
Harry, Ron, Hermione.
Harry: Promise me something.

Dobby: Anything, sir.
Harry: Never try to save my life again.
Draco Malfoy: So it's true then, what they were saying on the train. Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts.

Jason Isaacs/ Lucius Malfoy: I remember my very first day, I improvised a line. I had my first day, probably my first shot, I had to kind of flounce out of a room when Dumbledore, played by the late, great Richard Harris, put me in my place, and there was no line written, no exit line. And I’d been humiliated, and my plan had come to nothing. And I said to Chris Columbus, “Don’t you think there should be a line?” And he said, “Well, say something. Say whatever you like.” So we did another take, and I hadn’t told anyone what I was going to do. And as I turned to leave, I looked at Daniel, and I said, “Let us hope Mr. Potter will always be around to save the day.” And then Daniel, who was all of 12, stepped right up to me, looked me right in the eye, and said “Don’t worry. I will be.” A chill went down my spine. And as he did it, I thought, “Christ, this kid is good.”

“And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.”

Peeves: We did it, we bashed them, wee Potter's the one, And Voldy's gone moldy, so now let's have fun!

Hermione Granger - Emma Waston

Although they were identical, Fred and George's Patronums were different.

Fred’s was a hyena, and George’s was a coyote. When Fred died, George’s Patronus might’ve changed to a Hyena, but he was never able to cast one again - how could he when every happy memory he had involved a dead man?

If you're sure, better be GRIFFYNDOR!

 Dobby's first and last words.
In an interview, J.K. Rowling revealed that in The Half-Blood Prince, the third scent that Hermione smelt but never mentioned, when she sniffed Amortentia, the most powerful love potion in the Wizarding World, was the smell of Ron Weasley's hair.

 Tom Felton - Draco Malfoy
 Evanna Lynch - Luna Lovegood

Ron Weasley: Draco Malfoy, the Amazing Bouncing Ferret
Bonnie Wright - Ginny Weasley

James and Oliver Phelps - Fred and George Weasley

Oh, are you a prefect, Percy? You should have said something, we had no idea.

Hang on, I think I remember him saying something about it. Once --
Or twice --
 A minute --
All summer --
Matthew Lewis - Neville Longbottom
Neville Longbottom: Why is it always me?

"Dark and difficult times lie ahead. Soon we must all face the choice between what is right and what is easy." Albus Dumbledore

The Story Of The Three Brothers: "As for the third brother, Death searched for many years, but was never able to find him. Only when he attained a great age did the youngest brother shed the Cloak of Invisibility, and give it to his son. He then greeted Death as an old friend, and went with him gladly, departing this life, as equals."
The symbol for the three Deathly Hallows

The letter that started it all

Hermione Granger: "Fear of a name only increases fear of the thing itself."
Ronald Billius Weasley - Rupert Grint
Dumbledore: It takes a great deal of courage to stand up to your enemies, but a great deal more to stand up to your friends.
Rupert talking about how uncomfortable riding a broomstick was for his Quidditch scenes.

Rupert: But then they did make a little seat thing for me that kinda took a mold of uh… my uh…
Emma: Go on! Say it! Say it!
Rupert: Chair area.
Emma: Chair area!

Scared Potter?
You wish.
