You know that saying -you have to go backwards to go forwards? It really got me thinking about its meaning.

Dearest You,
Sure, it sounds corny to say that we are so close yet so distant, but in this case, it really does apply. I don't know how this happened but you just always talk about things I'm really not interested in and trust me, it's not that I haven't tried. I have gone all out trying to involve you in things i'm interested in and you just brush it aside and honestly, keep interrupting me.

We're on two different planets yet live in the same city and I can go a whole afternoon not talking to you which is ages in girl years. Why do you have to dump all your problems on me? I'm not and never will be your punching bag nor counsellor, and you need to accept that.
You know what I find most difficult? It's how at times, I don't see you for months on end. I do miss your presence.But when you are with me, you feed me things- material things thinking that it somehow makes up for the disconnection but in actual fact, makes me feel guilty for not treating you as a person whom i truly love. So that's how we're both losing. Your possessions. My heart.

So, about that saying; I'm not sure it applies to our situation. We both wish to go back and pick up where we left off but we're so different and neither of us are willing to change so much. We've reached that inevitable point where we have to accept that the spark isn't there any more. Changing your heart is just too damn difficult. 
All relationships must grow, right? When I was young, we used to be so close and to be honest, I'm not sure who it was that grew older but I know one thing that did grow.

Theory of Saying Sorry

Today in science, my mind drifted off for about 10 minutes and I kept thinking about existence. I hate it how sometimes you wonder WTH you are doing existing. Like you're thinking what the heck am I doing? Why am I here? And all of a sudden you feel self-conscious that you might just be doing something stupid..I hope at least one person feels like this sometimes.

Wow don't you just hate it when you bash into someone and you're the one who says sorry but really its not your fault? I bashed into this girl in the changeroom today and she fulli tabouli knocked my sushi outta my hand and I instinctively said sorry and she just stared at me like im some kinda weirdo. AFNOINSDSFINO! I remember last time i banged into this girl carrying a crapload of books in the changeroom and all her books fell down and I said sorry and she just gave me the dirtiest look ever. However i did help her pick up all her books. Next time i swear I'm gonna pick em all up and drop them all down again. I hate these kinda people. And it wasn't my fault- I didnt bang into her! It was a MUTUAL BANG for bloody sake. Gosh why couldn't it have been a guy at the very least..would have been much more romantic...haha.

Highlight of the day: When Michael Na tried jumping on a drama block to scare kevin yu and he landed on it, sat on it for half a second before falling off backwards BAHAHA. Also we got our wonderful formal tickets which smelt very naice and I loved the owl post.
Watching harry potter 1 now and its pretty funny. And the quidditch keeper dude is hot hehe.

Now, I need a machine that can create what I am thinking.

in the middle of ecstasy

HEY DID ANYONE SPIKE MY EASYWAY WITH LIKE ECSTASY OR SOMETHING?? Lmao I'm feeling really high now and every so often I'm getting up, running around the house and sitting down to write this again D= Also, I keep shaking my leg and everyone knows how I wouldn't be caught dead doing that haha.
Hey you know how everyone knows how to twirl pens and stuff?  Well heres my guide to reading 'pen language' and 'exam language' ( note: you may want to do this as a practical to ensure maximum understanding):

CHAPTER 1: EXAM LANGUAGE
a) Head close to table with fingers sprawled on page = a maths diagram- probably circle geometry and they cant figure the angle out
b) Scratching head = you guessed it- theyre stuck for ideas on how to start
c) One hand writing, one hand firmly on page = theyre freaking on top of this
d) Lying on the desk = ive given up fo sho
e) Shaking their leg = im pressed for time D= i think this is bloody annoying- its literally like an earthquake. it creates after shocks in adjoining regions of the room causing STATIONERY objects to quiver.


CHAPTER 2: PEN LANGUAGE
a) Swinging pen back and forth hitting the page then rebounding each time = this question is tricky and i know how to work it out but its gona take ages. should i bother?
b) Simple twirling =  'yeah im reading this and i understand but i'm a bit nervous I'll hit something i won't quite understand
c) Taking pen lid on and off with pinky finger = 'wtf does this mean?'
d) Tapping the desk with the pen lid ontop of the pen = %$@! im screwed

I find it quite the funny when the person next to you has been sitting there for like 10 minutes with nothing to do and all of a sudden they jump up and start attacking the paper cos they got something wrong. I remember someone doing that in Selective and they fell off their chair heehee

Also I'm really sad that I cant fit into my formal dress anymore- its too big for me =( Looks like I'm gonna have to youtube 'taking a dress in' so it doesnt fall off if I dance.

Do you know what i have respect for? People that dont give a stuff about what others think of them.It suddenly hit me because they sure are intelligent- i mean if you think about it, what others see as your weakness or weirdness isnt really your problem. It is someone elses' problem they have with you. It reminded me of a time many years ago when this girl had issues with me...and in fact with a lot of other people. And one day she just went around calling people weird and giving them crap about themselves. And being the rebellious girl i was back then i went up to her and said something along the lines of:
"Look if you think everyone else is weird then YOU'RE actually the one that's weird."
 It makes sense...doesn't it?

During these past few days of cramming, i learnt that the UN isn't a country. I thought it was another name for America.My logic was that Britain = UK so UN must be America. And during history study, my mind kept on drifting and i still dont know the answer to: How do Aboriginals sleep?

Hey-whats the best way to end a conversation with a telecommunicator without being rude? I figured out a few possibilities:
1) Hang up
2) Put the phone down and walk away leaving them to talk to themselves
3) Keep yourself only listening to see how long they take to realise theyre talking to themselves
4) Pretend you're the cleaner
5) Just say 'im not interested'.
The majority of the time i just hang up. Next time im gonna make noises- as if theres a disconnection, then go 'i cant hear you!' before hanging up. =D

The other night i was doing a math paper. I was sitting in my dad's study room cos my room's too messy to do work and i ceebs cleaning. I got up to get my red pen from my room to rule my margins but when i came back, they were already ruled. Not just one page,  four. How does this happen?

The Career Experiment

YAYAYAY NO BRACESS =D Came off yesterday after a year and 7 months and lookin pretty good but i want to get them whitened for the sake of whiter teeth. Why just be white when you can go whiter than white? EHHneway, went to Cabaret and OMGSH i got there running in my heels only to the sounds of stage band TUNING. Vaish ripped my bag out of my hands and i had to dash to the front with my sax only to hear that if i had been sitting in that spot like a minute earlier i probably would need plastic surgery. Cheuk said the light bulb above my head had cracked and shattered to pieces so if i was sitting there it wouldve landed on my head. And the whole 'new look' experience of no braces would come to an abrupt end cos my face woulda been cut by the pieces of glass. NOW who's to say being late is always a bad thing?

Ok in ag we were talking about what we'd like to study in uni and what the interviews would be like. I really have to plan this out. For example they may ask what was the last book you read. I have no idea what to say- i mean i cant say a classic like pride and prejudice because you probably shouldve read that sometime in high school so i have to time things perfectly. Basically i have to read a book like a week b4 the interview cos if someone asked me that i'd probably just say 'why read when theres movies?'

Also- i dont want to do medicine. First it takes far too long and say it takes you 15 years to study/establish you'll be what 33 at the least. Your career will probs only be for like 30 odd years after that so if you think about it, you have been studying for 'half' of your career. You went to school for 13 years so 28 years studying = 30 years of a career. It doesnt seem worthwhile to me. If you do  business/law or something like that, it takes 5 years for a double degree plus maybe 2/3 years for internship or just another degree. Honey, ill be making money for an extra 7 years while you'll still be nerding away at anatomy. And to those who say 'oh you didnt include time for 'building up'" well medicine also takes time to build up and get to know people. Specialists get their business from GP's that refer patients =)
I realise that if i werent at ruse id probs be a fashion journalist or actor (if i could) cos when you come here theres basically 2 options - law or med. But its good how i actually like economics and want to do something in that field. lol damn why the hell do we have to be so smart?

Can i question the point of cute little dogs and paw prints on toilet paper? TO ENCOURAGE KIDS TO WIPE THEIR OWN BUTTS? Seriously, its just ruining artwork. Toilet paper should be kept plain because face it, your not gonna stare at the doggies for ages and they're literally going down the drain.

LOL i remember in yr 7 i had this fettish with roulette and i based my clock on it. Man i miss grit paper and how it made everything smooooth. When we made the box i cbb spelling LAURA cos A's were too hard so i wrote the simple LOL on it.

oh i hate it when you hav a million windows open and random music starts playing and you dont know which window it is...

Stereo Wars

LOL today was interesting and what you read may not come to anything but im fricken proud! I came home from work in the surgery and i was playing some music on my mobile while randomly doing some math.And then i hear strange noises- i get a little paranoid bout these things cos no one was home either. I turned my music off and i hear this 'noise' coming from outside and i figure its my neighbour-  and he's painting his front door while listening to some old freaking music that sounds crapper than Little Red. But then heres the fun part- i started drowning him out with OMG, Magic etc all those loud songs. And i swear he can see me from the balcony and he can somehow hear it so he turns his stupid music UP. With my vulcan hearing, i notice the increased loudness of his crap so i turn mine up-i even add my laptop and stero and synchronise it  =D After like half an hour, i won the battle of the music cos i fully drowned him out- and i learnt that when its cold, sound travels faster and its as if the sound source was right next to you XD That would explain a few things in DOE cos i kept freaking out at night that there was a possum on my face or in my sleeping bag HAHA.

Anyway i tried the Chatime Pearl Milk tea with red bean. I must say the pearls are a little undercooked and arent chewy or big enough..and the milk tea aint sweet enough.And it wasnt full- and i mean it had like 1.5cm of empty vacuous space at the top and you know how the diameter of the cup increases as the height does. ie. you get the most at the top! Thank goodness for the red beans, it gets a 6/10 ( based on taste, texture and quantity)

I hope someone agrees with me that the screening of the Commonwealth Games is an extremely gigantic waste of television time. Masterchef, Neighbours, Glee, Modern Family ..like EVERYTHING is gone because we'd rather watch cyclists go round the track 154 times. LOL and who notices that like NOBODY is watching..what a waste of money.

Ok i've started thinking about retired life. And I NEVER WANT TO RETIRE! Like dude, wth are you going to do for what 20 odd years? You cant travel for that long- all thats left is to you know pass on. I can't see anything else remotely interesting. I'm sure my view atm will change in 50 years time but for now, i plan to retire at 85. Hmm and 85 yr old banker... HEY the oldest athlete at CWLTH games is 72!
OH and to my kids- i aint leaving you a bloody cent MUHAHAHAHA IM SO EVIL CANEVIL!

it was sunny, then scorching hot, then windy, then rainy, then sunny, followed by heavy rain and now its cloudyyy - can we say climatee change ? D: freaky:/

Before you read on: has anyone lost a Polya Maths Enrich question booklet? ( thin one). I seem to have 2 copies... Anyway wrote this poem after 60 mins had this segment on heart failure and also the weather's sort of depressing me.  I hope you understand the last line =)

My Heart is dying

When you’ve fallen in love with the man of your dreams

Its like nothing could go wrong, or so it seems

But when those words ‘It’s my heart- its failing’

Come from the mouth of a person barely inhaling,

You often wonder when 'tis really his time'

Will it set in your mind or continue to chime?

When the journey begins, you can never tell

Exactly how long this loved one will dwell

But the best you can do is enjoy the last

Few months, maybe days, and not their past.

Sit with them, comfort, pray and always love

And know when theyre gone, theyre forever up above

You start to think, why has God done this?

Why not another and given my dear Freddie a miss?

But you’ve got to be thankful for the mere fact

They haven’t suddenly passed, just like that.

Be happy you’ve spent those last few hours

How you planned; with those bunch of flowers

Sitting by their bedside, saying ‘forget- me- not’

As a reminder you love him quite the lot.

When I knew that Freddie didn’t have much longer

There was one thing to do, and that’s to be stronger

Right now, my own heart does have that big bruise

For I’m about to let go of the man I did choose.

So when my sweet Freddie says his heart’s about to die

I turn and say effortlessly ‘So is mine’.
