The 411

I think after eating so much frozen yogurt in the past few weeks, I should be blogging about them.
Let me recount this chronologically :)

1. Moochi ( in strathfield) - this was my first ever real experience having froyo
The froyo: IMO, it's good quality- and I mean that as in it's not too acidic or icy but it's creamy, smooth and you have to take a few spoonfuls before you actually devour a chunk of it, so you can walk around for 20mins without it melting into coloured syrup.
The Toppings: It's 50c PER topping :O Their mochi isn't that great though- it's not a sweet rice cake..more like a rice ball. And the sweetness of the froyo doesn't make up for it.
Additional info: THE SPOONS ARE BLOODY GREAT. THEY'RE PINK AND GOOD QUALITY SPOONS. DONT CHUCK THEM OUT. I washed mine and will reuse it! I think a big part of marketing is creating the complementary goods that have the brand name on it. It's personalised. Labelled. If you have a moochi, have a moochi spoon. Have a moochi napkin. Have a frigging moochi cup. It ticks all the boxes for that :)
and I found the customer service ppl really friendly- and cute may I add!

2. Yogurberry (in eastwood and opening in epping) - this is different to usual froyo places because it's self serve. You choose the flavours of mango, strawberry, blueberry, plain, taro and green tea i think? And then you put on as many toppings as you want. And weigh it. And a price pops up. You pay that.
The froyo: It's a bit icy and acidic and slightly inconsistent so i find it melts more easily :( It's not as 'dense' as the moochi froyo so I didnt really like the yogoberry one too much.
The Toppings: there's more in terms of range- like fruit balls - theyre like skittles in terms of flavour but like fish eggs in terms of texture. A little fruit ball of heaven. But i warn you, they add to the weight of your cup so go easy :) But theres also every fruit syrup/real fruit and nut possible. There's even choc brownie which I like but then again it is a heavy item.
Additional info: It's expensive. They only supply big cups which don't have the 'yogurberry' logo so you're more inclined to fill it all up then you come to weigh it and all of a sudden its frigging $6.30. Also, I don't like how a price just pops up on the screen after you weigh it- it's like a magical number plucked out of their head that you pay. And the spoons aren't as nice as the moochi however theyre pink lol. But the premises are pretty cute! And location convenient.

3. Praus-eastwood. I LIKE THIS PLACE! I've only been once and they system is also like yogurberry.
The froyo: I've had green tea and it tastes LIKE REAL GREEN TEA. It's really nice.. more of a green tea flavour than moochi with a SLIGHTLY less dense/heavy texture but man its very balanced.
The toppings: They have the usual fruits/nuts/syrups but no fruit balls.
One thing that stood out for me was the staff were really nice and kindly recommended we have the 'small' sized cup since it was our first time. I like how they have different sized cups so you won't be inclined to fill the huge ones up. Also they have blackberry froyo which was nice. ALSO its 20% off for school students! It's WAY cheaper than yogurberry and the froyo ain't acidic/icy. It's a litttle further from the station but I'd go the extra mile ;) haha puns puns puns.

4. Noggi- strathfield. It's not self serve but its much like Praus. But slightly more expensive I think but only by a margin. I like their cones- so instead of froyo in a cup its in a cone.
I must tell you that last week I asked for a green tea mini but they gave me original flavour instead so I told them ( COS I AINT ACCEPTING PLAIN- IT JUST AINT MY FLAVA) and the guy kindly gave me both the green tea and the original mini for the simple $3.10 I paid which is the price of 1 mini.  I like the premises too-its so cute. And if you come in school uniform, its free toppings! Im gonna call this occurrence an implicit bargain-because I didnt expect/cause the bargain to happen but it just did.

On that note of implicit bargaining, I went to top ryde city on sunday and wanted a box of grilled salmon from the food court. And I paid $5.90 but then the chef/owner came out and swapped the box I was about to take for another. I noticed that the new box was warmer than the old box and I looked at him quizically and he said 'this ones fresher'. And so I felt all warm and delighted inside, just like  my humble box of sushi :)

I'm Batman

So I haven't watched The Dark Knight Rises...until today :D
In a late Thursday night decision, Alex, Brian and I decided to head off to Macquarie today to watch the film that everyone else already has. When we paid for the tickets, the lady told us that we'd be the only ones in the cinema.
 EPIC 8D
Anyway I decided to head off to the bathroom and when I came back Alex and Brian seemed to be running laps around the cinema but that was because they went to touch the movie screen which apparently feels just like a smooth projector wall. And so we choose the best seats in the cinema - and did you know that the hand rests CAN BE PULLED UP :O Also I comfortably took my shoes off and placed my feet in between the chairs in front of me which felt awesome because I've never put my feet up in a public place xP
I love batman. He's my favourite superhero, always has been.
I am currently quite tired and wish to return to watching Alki Stevens on YouTube. I swear half his pranks aren't legal.
Have a great weekend :)

PENS!

So in response to Jeff's 'Pen' review, I think I need to defend the BIC Cristal! Haha!
What I like about the BIC Cristal:
1. it's thin-so my writing is more controllable and I can use my unconventional grip as shown.
2. the ink ALWAYS comes out- the letters I form are 'solid' and I dont get those half filled lines where half the ink comes out.
3. they're cheap! I think it's about $2.70 for a pack of 10/15?
What I don't like:
1. The ink isn't a nice blue colour. This blue is one of the darkish ones- it's bordering on black at times. Okay maybe not that dark but its not a happy blue :)
2. It gets blotchy towards the end- it's not blotchy to the point where it smears all over your paper or you can actually see the blotches, but the tip gets a bit inky and so you end up with a few marks on your hand. Evidence you've been studying!

Pilot BPS in Fine
I love this Pilot Pen! It's absolutely the best thing I've ever bought. I usually wouldn't get the 'fine' but I accidentally bought 2 packs of 4 which costed $7.99 each which is kinda expensive.
What's cool:
1. The ink is a nice blue colour. A true blue. And it flows every time without half filled lines or blotching.
2. It's comfy to use and thin!
What's not so cool:
1. BE WARNED. If you drop the pen on the ground with the tip hitting the ground, you've wasted the whole pen. What you end up with is a lot worse than half filled lines. Goodbye pen. Goodbye $2.
2. The ink runs out fast- but I like to say it's because it always leaves solid lines. (okay i'm really hoping you understand what half filled and solid lines are)

Papermate Inkjoy:
Okay this pen is awesome in terms of fluidity and smoothness. However if you're like me and use a tight grip, your writing can easily go out of control. It glides very smoothly and the ink gets used up pretty quick at first UNTIL you reach the stage where the ink drops to the level of the love hearts in Paper and Mate (see picture) Then it just dies. You'll see half filled lines like never before and then the pen just collapses and the investment is not worth it.

Lamy. (don'tknow what model) This pen is expensive.. but it's done wonders so I feel i should tell you about it! Basically there's 3 separate functions: A ball point pen, a stylus and a pacer. The stylus I don't use at all thus it's pretty useless and the pacer is pretty good. The ball point pen is awesome because every time I get solid lines and the ink refuses to run out. Each ink refill is about $5 each i THINK but I've had the pen for 2 years and changed it once-mind you, I don't use this pen that often. It's a bit chunky so I use it for things I don't need to write fast in.

Overall the Pilot pen is the best in terms of performance, but in terms of performance and economics I think the BIC Cristal is good. I was sad that I didn't get around to buying the pilot for trials but I lived on BIC Cristal which enabled me to pump out the essays pretty fast ;)
On another note, I decided to buy a post-it pad! (NO PUN INTENDED LOL) It surprised me because they're so expensive! One 1cm high note pad was $4.70! At officeworks that is. Wow is the world adhesive supply on the verge of extinction? Cos paper isn't really...right? I also don't like how they made fluoro coloured note pads more expensive :( So I bought a brand which wasn't post-it but was fluoro so I made up for the whole cost thing (Post-its are more expensive)  YAY COMPROMISED CONDITIONS! But then I went home and tried sticking them on the wall infront of my study desk AND THEY FELL OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, during trials i used my mum's very nice watch and so now I've decided that I need a proper watch. I'd like one with a few or all of the numbers on the face and a metal clip strap thingy. I know in winter metal on skin is cold at first but when you wear leather straps in summer it can get pretty sticky/wet. Also I just think metal looks a tad better.

So yeah, getting sticky notes and a watch is something I realise I need for the real HSC! And a folder.. As the exams got closer I found my once filled and organised folder of papers/notes gradually came out and were misplaced and now my folder is lying on the floor empty... with all the paper in the world strewn about it. I'd like to see my floor again.

Physica

Is it just me or does the terms 'DC current' always pop up?
I thought DC itself meant Direct Current. So by saying DC current, you're saying 'direct current current'.

:D

HELLO MY BLOGGIE MC BLOGSTER!!!!!!
Yeah, so I might be posting for a few times these holidays to let everyone know about my thoughts and things I'm just curious about in general. I'm feeling methodical so lets just have a numerical list here:

1. After watching about every single episode of Masterchef, I do wonder why one must make such a large quantity of food only to plate up the minutest amount. Is this, perhaps the reason why top restaurant quality food is so expensive? For example, in a pressure test, the contestants had to plate up George's 'Capsicum Terrine' and basically they used about 15 whole red capsicums, chopped them nicely and fit them into an arms length (from your elbow to your hand) log tray when a 7x2x5 cm slice.I know that chefs must actually save the rest and use it for another time, but seriously, is it that hard to cut a few more slices up and make a nice, real dish that satisfies one's appetite? Also, if you give me a massive plate with 3 pieces of ravioli and some kind of oil dressing that you pass off as 'consumme' or 'broth' I'm gonna be annoyed. I come the restaurant to eat not admire your crockery. Perhaps it is an incentive to order more from the menu. Ironically, I dont get why waiters take the menu away from you once you've ordered. For me, I actually enjoy looking at the pictures of desserts and it makes me wonder whether I should have some...

2. I bought Maybelline Baby Lips (lip balm) for $3 in Antioxidant Berry. And I was loving it. Until I lost it for a week. Then I bought another one because my lips were drying out. I tell you, lip balm is like an addiction. It's not a placebo effect! Well anyway I bought another one for $4. The next morning, I found my long lost one, at the back of mum's car.

3. Let me give you a little bit of advice-take it from the sushi queen ie ME ;) Do not ever mistake avocado for wasabi....

4. My total 'pants' count is now 3. If you didnt know, I never wear pants. And then winter came. Because Stockings and leggings dont suffice. I have a floral pair of jeans that I wore on mufti, a light blue tube jean (that I got for $39.95!!) and black leggings which I still count as pants cos theyre warm.

5. I had this fricking weird dream the other day that I swear lasted for hours. My bath tub was my fish tank LOL. And one of my fish jumped out and landed in the basin. (btw I have gold fish). And it was flapping around as all fish do when theyre out of water but I was too scared to grab hold of it and put it back in the bath tub. So I ran the tap on to make sure it stayed wet, for two days HAHAAHHA.That was my attempt at keeping it alive. By the time I came back, it had died :( And its eye split in half :S

6. I hate it when you text a person, asking them something relatively important and they dont answer  your question. Big Pet Peeve grrr.

Goodluck for trial study and umat prep! Wishing everyone all the best :) xx

Payphone

Summary of my weekend:
I bought this song on itunes. Enough said! :)
Also, I realise I gave my mother's day gift on the wrong day. Just a week early...
Anyway, it IS the effort and thought that counts and in my opinion, the handbag I bought for her was pretty classy.
I must say, I'm quite excited for the UNSW law night and 3on3 basketball !
I made a new study room. I found 3 'exam desks' at home- theyre exactly like the ones in the school hall...fold up and everything. My new room is called the 'zen room', consisting of 4 white walls, 1 window, 1 desk, 1 chair, a wardrobe and exactly 1 bin to chuck all of my excess scribble in. You ask, why call it the zen room? Simply, when I am in this room, I am in zen mode 8D

ORDER OF SUSHI NOOBNESS

The other day I was asked a question which seemed a bit 'why would you ask that?!' because they knew I had bad eyesight. If you didnt know that then I guess just consider that for the scenario.
I was in the car with Person A who knew I had bad eyesight. They pointed to a sign far in the distance (one of those black boards with orange digital writing about road blockages/expected traffic etc) and asked me to read it. And I found that because it was quite far away and that my contacts are a tad out of kilter, I couldn't read what it said properly. And then Person A asked me in a very condescending tone : 'but don't you have your contact lenses in?'
So then I thought, 'why would you ask that?' You KNOW and even at times tease me about my eyesight so you understand that if I didn't have my contacts in, I wouldnt be able to read the fifty road directions on the street directory you just asked me to read. And then when I cant read a sign that is just under a kilometer away, you ASK me if I have them in?!! REALLY REALLY! Just because someone has their contacts in doesn't mean that they can fully read the text a mile away. You know, for someone with bad eyesight, having glasses/contacts doesnt always make every letter appear so damn crisp and shiny. I think I was just mad at the fact that they always tease me..sigh.

Anyway, we had a fun maths lesson with Mr @lder on Thursday. He told us about how the Titanic didnt sink..or 'snap' the way it was portrayed in the movie. Also, it didnt obey any physical or mathematical laws haha. Very interesting.

I have this sort of new love for half grilled smoky salmon. If any of you are regulars at sushi trains, you may have tried the 'grilled' salmon dish where they place a sliver? of salmon ontop of an oval of rice and they put a blow torch on it. OMG THE SMOKEY FLAVA with the shallots and onion and THE WASABI and THE GINGER and soya sauce ALL TOGETHER OISJDFOI MMMM. Do try it :)
Alrighty, I must tell you of this, well how do I say it... 'Order of Sushi Noobness'.

When you first go to a sushi train, you may say to yourself- what is all this rawness? Everything looks so funky! Dont even mention the fact that as you walked through the very doors, everyone frigging screamed something at you! Was it japanese, chinese, korean? And OMG everyone is staring at me! So I sit down and see the dishes go past me. Oh my theres a raw prawn!!...I swear it just blinked at me! Never mind that, I see a familiar face coming, it is none other than THE SIX TINY ROLLS IN A 3 BY 2 RECTANGLE WITH CUCUMBER IN THE MIDDLE! HAW HAW EASY PEASY JAPANESY! And then I finish that dish. OH maybe now I'll try EXACTLY THE SAME PLATE only with... SALMON IN THE MIDDLE HAWHAW RAW FISH! Lol, this is still the noob stage, clearly.

The next stage, called nooblet, occurs when the diner wants opts for the dish consisting of 2 slices of raw plain salmon ontop of 2 ovals of rice, and for that extra bit of funk, theres a green shallot on the top. And maybe, they try the cute little egg ontop of again, ovals of rice.

Stage three is called competent, where they enjoy the sushis with ROUND inside out rolls of rice with salmon, tuna, avocado and cucumber in the middle. If you choose chicken-teriyaki then you're back to nooblet. If you choose chicken-katsu then you're midway between nooblet and competent. Get real folks, eat the damn fish. Stop clinging onto the chicken.

Stage four is known as, quite simply WASABI. Yep, you have started to complement the dishes with a mixture of soy sauce, ginger and wasabi. And you realise, HEY THIS STUFF IS LIKE A DEER TO A CAVEMAN. Solid progress my dear.

Stage 5, also known as SASHIMI is when you have the audacity to talk to one of those waitresses for a PLATE OF SASHIMI. And you know why you like it? Because not only does it have the wonders of raw fish all on a plate, but it has a dollup of the finest wasabi right in the middle of the plate. Respect the salmon. But also respect the tuna. And the kingfish.

Stage 6 is when you have the heart, and may I say the mind, to look at a prawn, with its aghast face staring right back at cha (remember the first time you walked in?) and actually tear it apart and consume the delights of its inner goodness. And then comes along the $7.50 gold plates with a massive shell clam thingo with scallop mornay. I think that's what you call it. This shiz is sacred people. Good on ya for eating it :)

I must say that I'm at stage 5- I love my sashimi and I think due to my incredible dislike for prawns and other seafoods in general, that I'm gonna stay on stage 5 for a long time. I must say that very rare beef is lovely but you need the shallots and sauces to accompany it. I am yet to develop a stage 7 and maybe 8 if that exists but that would involve me getting out of my stage 5. Where abouts are you on the sushi noob order? :D

Friday Afternoon

This morning, I was feeling great, absolutely pumped for my speech. On the way to school, my dad said to me:
Dad: 'so you're just speeching today'
Me: 'yeah'
Dad: 'so it should be easy, you just copy it from book'
Me: 'WHAT WHAT WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT I NEVER COPIED ANYTHING. I FRICKING INTERVIEWED THIS PERSON AND WROTE MY SPEECH WHAT'
So yeah, I was pretty insulted by that.

Anyway, I've probably mentioned this to a few people but after getting maths results this week, I realise how funnay Mr Alder is. When he was trying to emphasise the fact that (a X 0) isn't equal to 'a' he pressed pretty hard with his chalk, on the blackboard and the chalk broke LOL. And then I looked on the floor and saw all these small bits of white chalk and ROFLd.

I dunno if ive ever mentioned this, but I really like interior design. When I was young, I always saw my dad painting walls and tiling and i realise that I'd love to be given a plain room and have the chance to just make it all awesome. I think this explains why, in my free time, I paint :) OH and speaking of painting, does anyone remember when they watched 'The Princess Diaries"(one) when Mia's mother was launching darts at a piece of canvas and the darts had to hit balloons filled with different colours of paint? OMG I REALLY WANT TO DO THAT. And I have to say that the end result isn't too bad, artistically.

You thought I was done blogging...

You thought I was done with the whole choosing shampoo thing...
Im not.
Let me go on to body wash.

Ok for starters, I dont use a bar of soap, instead I use body wash. Firstly, does everyone own their own bar of soap? I have this thing against soap (ill refer to soap bars as soap for this). Is it not unhygienic to use soap on your body and then leave it there in the moist atmosphere of your shower, for it to collect a hoard of parasites and mould in between every day showers? Not to mention, other people may use that same soap bar for their body so their collection of bodily oils and whatnot has been scraped off their body and you've just lathered it all over yours as you use it? I hate soap. Its just not clean imo. And soap for washing your hands. Especially in public toilets (thank goodness for soap dispensers now)- but really, SO many people have touched that one soap bar after using the toilet- are you seriously gonna use that on your hands just to make it smell nice? BTW they dont even smell nice anyway haha.

Okay so I use body wash. First thing, I dont like the ones that smell of shea butter or that just smell too strong/sweet because it gives me a headache. Ones that smell citrus-y are delightful and I especially like pomegranate/grapefruit cos it's refreshing. Ones that smell like cherry are too strong for my liking. So when I shower you obviously have to put a reasonable amount on your hand, scrub/ whatever and then comes a problem. You get to your feet. You want your feet of almost all body parts to smell nice right? You use 2 hands to wash 1 foot ( as I do) but the soap is on one hand only so you have to use all that remains on that hand THEN go on to the other one. It may be a little less than required - so then you get onto the next foot and you find that you have to squeeze more out of the bottle to balance it out to make them smell just as nice. But WOOPS YOU"VE SQUEEZED TOO MUCH OUT. So what do you do (this is where you have to change technique). This is the perfect solution I swear. You use 1 hand to wash that foot with the same amount of soap as last time and with the rest, YOU WASH YOUR HANDS. HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT OF WASHING YOUR HANDS IN THE SHOWER? HAWHAWHAWHAHW. Your hands don't srub themselves alone by having soap on them ya know!!! USE THAT EXTRA BIT AND WASH AND SCRUB YOUR HANDS AND MAKE SURE ALL THAT DIRT COMES OUT OF YOUR FINGERNAILS !! Wow I think I've just taught you how to wash your body... O.O

Food for thought:
a) Wouldn't it be cool if there was a lever arch folder that could be invented such that the metal harbor bridge thingos that you put the hole punched sheets on, WAS an actual hole puncher thingo? Like you could have 2 metal binder thingos but you could just somehow press something and it punches a hole and straight away adds it to the rest of your sheet pile? ATM I'm actually sick of hole punching so if i have a folder i press the two sides of the sheet onto the metal bits that stick out and thread it on so the holes look yuck but I'm lazy haha.

b) Why is it that for the iphone adds, the girl asks Siri 'do i need an umbrella? or whats the weather like today?' when she could JUST press the weather button and look at it herself? You know it takes time to asks Siri and for her to process what you've just said and in total it takes a lot more time ...

Rolling In the Deep

So I chose a few questions from quizzes that I enjoy answering :)
1. What do you think of yourself right now?
Atm, I'm quite confused about myself- on the inside, I know I am still the same person brought up believing the same morals and I think that I'm a nice person, though I've been told that I'm unapproachable and intimidating. Dunno if what's on the outside reflects what's on the inside but yeah LOL I swear I smile/laugh heaps!

2. What do you find most annoying about people?
1) I really really have a dislike for negative people- it's like they're trying to kill your faith in something you believe in and I'm sorry but that's just wrong. You ain't gonna get far with an attitude like that. Why can't you just be Bob for a second and build your way around shiz? HAW HAW.

2) People that can't act for themselves..sigh.

3. What makes you happy?
Generally when I'm around people! Talking laughing etc 8D

4. Do you believe that life is fair?
Hmm theres a saying that I posted ages ago about how life isn't fair for everyone, which actually makes it fair. I think things happen unfairly at the wrong time for people and for those who have benefited from that, they have injustices to them at other times. Generally, I think people need to appreciate the good things more dearly :) So in answering the question, yeah I think life is good and fair. The bad things that have happened to you will only make you a better person in my opinion.

5. Do you have any pre exam rituals/habits?
Yeah, you may have noticed that I always wear my multi coloured ribbon and tie my hair in a ponytail during exams and I wear my rosary haha. I don't skip breakfast and get a good nights sleep!

6. What's your view on tattoos and piercings?
Both are alright as long as they're not in excess. Piercings- for me I don't really like them ON the face cos I find it just gets in the way of a person's facial features and expressions.. haha I tend to get distracted by how they work. Ears is fine but I don't like the tragus one looks a bit fleshy to me and is that counted as the ear or the face? Tattoos- I don't mind pretty small tattoos but I don't like the full red green all them colours down one's arm or leg or back. Pretty unnattractive to me. I like the symbolic ones.

7. What are you inspired by?
OOh i love this question! My straight out answer: soldiers. I actually admire them. Sometimes, i see them on the trains I catch- or navy defence personnel- and I let them first on the train LOL respect there.

:)

Shampoo Shopping

Wow I've had this really cool realisation. You know how theres that famous line
" Houston ! We have a problem!!" - that's from transformers! I was watching it yesterday and my ears suddenly picked up those few words so then I decided to google it and aparently it's from Apollo 13 LOL.

I'm not sure if I've blogged this before, but it's been quite a topic of discussion in maths; it may have happened to you before but do be warmed for it irks my tolerance/temper shizz...
Ok so you're doing a graphing question for maths and they ask you to draw a graph. So you look into your pencilcase but NUU you forgot to put in your pencil! So you ask the person next to you if you could borrow one. You say 'hey, do you have a pencil I could borrow?' And what do they say? They go 'no, but I have a pacer'. For some wild reason, I actually get annoyed when people do this. They do the same thing, they both have lead in them and they are both used to draw shiz!!! Now if that person was to say 'no' to your question, but then you later look in their pencilcase to find an actual pacer, then thats just being a bum. LOL JUST GIMME THE BLOODY PACER.

I've been watching more of Jenna Marbles lately (Youtube) and there was this video of what guys dont get about girls. She mentioned something about how its quite annoying when boys hurry us up or give us 20 minutes to get ready for a big night out. Today, i went to chemist warehouse because I needed to buy shampoo + conditioner and bio oil- the main reason was for bio oil cos I've been eaten by mosquitos and they always leave a scar where i've been bitten. Anyway, so I walk into the store and I find the aisle where they sell shampoo and first thing my dad tells me to do is to hurry up because he's hungry haha. I hadn't even reached the shampoo section when he told me this. I guess what he doesn't understand is that when I select a new shampoo , I have to decide on a number of things and tbh I only take 2-3 minutes at max for this process: ( i hope this doesn't make me sound high maintenance haha but I'm sure a lot of girls think of this when choosing shampoos!)
- I need it to be different to the last one I tried

- it should smell nice- not some kind of weird oil shiz that makes you smell like a medicine cabinet BTW that shampoo called 'Pears' smells like that.

- for my own preferences, I'd like it to be volumising- you may like anti dandruff etc

- I dont quite like Herbal essences cos I sneeze a lot with the strong smell lol but thats a personal thing

- I don't like massive bottles like Tresemme because if I find its no good for my hair it's bad luck cos theres still 800mL to use haha

-the price should be reasonable e.g. I saw a pack of John Freida shampoo + 2 conditioners for $18 which is cheap since 1 bottle is normally $14 but then WHO THE HECK USES THAT MUCH CONDITIONER. THE POINT OF ME WASHING MY HAIR IS TO REMOVE THE OIL NOT TO DEEP FRY IT IN A BATH OF OIL. So yeah, what a scam that was. And I'm not prepared to spend $20 on stuff that does the same thing as the $4 ones. Speaking of conditioner- I dont like it how the bottles are the same size as the shampoo ones because I tend to use A LOT LESS conditioner then you just end up wasting a whole heap of it. Damn those marketing strategies.

So yeah, thats what I think of when I choose a shampoo and I hardly spent 30 seconds when my dad asked me to hurry up.Think about it, just by looking at the shelf you can see what the shampoo does, its brand and price. All I have to do is smell it LOL. And so I chose Sunsilk which was cheap, smelt pretty good, was volumising and I hadn't used it before! But then I forgot to buy my Bio oil GRR. Never hurry me along please.

IM BACK!

HELLO MY BLOGGIE!
So exams have finished and Ive spent the whole night watching transformers, online shopping, curling my hair painting my nails talking to mummy etc. I noticed all the wonderful coats online with pictures of models standing in snow storms looking all glam with them furry hoods. I do think they look pretty but I dont think its quite cold enough..LOL global warming is happing my designer friends.
I have recently discovered the wonders of chicken nuggets. Who knew they could taste so damn good? The crispy out edges followed by the tender moist succulent (wow they all mean the same thing almost) inside is "intoxicating" to the senses. I really like that word after reading Jeff's post haha.  Hmm I just realised, every time I ate Mc Donalds chicken nuggets I always thought of sea horses because i thought they just looked so much like them. Am I the only one? As I was eating it, I thought to myself in my own childish brain, now I am eating the head, now it's bum and now..I'm onto the next seahorse HAHHAHA

I have decided to temporarily move out of my study room just cos its looks atrocious right now. And I left the exam timetable on my dads study desk and he hasn't been there for a while...in fact it's been so long that a frigging bug died on top of it. Now I can't do my usual exam tradition and rip the timetable up because I'd have to watch the pretty dried out exoskeleton slide off it. Yucky.
Ill post properly some other time. But for now enjoy the post exam period for those who are done! ;)

hummbugg

You know, I'd really like to make a tetris sandwich, just for the kicks. It wouldn't be that hard right? Just slice here slice there and BAM, the perfect strategy to win a game. All you have to do is get those shapes in exactly that order XP
Anyway, one of my dreams when I'm older and I can afford a big house -as strange as this may sound, is to have an orchard at the back of my house, or even in a greenhouse. It needn't be a big one, but one that can produce just enough apples so I could happily eat one every day. I'd also want oranges. I'll plant my own celery, potatoes and parsely so I could cook like Jamie Oliver and pick ingredients as I go. Oh! And I'll also grow pretty flowers- the edible ones :) Hopefully the budding scientists of the time will be able to come up with several species of plants so that there wouldn't be the need to plant crops at a certain time of year, i.e. you woulnd't need a particular climate/amount of sunshine etc.

I don't think I mentioned this yet LOL but I feel a need to say it. This is our last year of school and I wish everyone the best of luck. Savour every moment like it's your last because I guarantee that when you're in uni or wherever you may go, there'll be times when you just wish you'd be back in the common room or even in class with everyone. The atmosphere of this senior year will never be the same and I hope y'all enjoy every bit of it. Sure, there'll be ups and downs, but treat it as a kind of preparation for the emotions and journeys life has to offer.

Most of us will be 18 soon and when I was younger, i always imagined that at this time I'd be too grown up. Realistically, I'm nowhere near that. I feel that I'm still too immature to face the world out there and that I'm still a kid who needs her mum and most of all friends to get through the day. Hmm, I've probably taken a few things for granted too. I have a lot of growing up to do and I need to learn to appreciate the tools in life that I've been given. Don't we all?
See you at the end of the tunnel =)

The truth doesn't hurt

This is quite a disjointed post so bear with me :)
You may remember a post a few back when I said that I had a short fuse. I think my fuse has lengthened after about a month of trying :D

Oh, I've never understood why people go 'say happy birthday to your grandma for me' if you've never actually met them. I think I've said that sometimes before but now that I think about it, what was the point? It's another birthday wish from someone that you'll never really meet and I sort of doubt they'd care lol.
Also, I hate liars. I'm sure most people do. Hypothetically, say that you invited a few friends out to the movies and one person says 'nah sorry I cant make it, I don't want to watch that movie'. But in fact, they're going with another group of friends. Anyway you and your friends go and out of nowhere, you see that person who dogged your group to go with someone else, in the same cinema. Then there's the whole '..dude you said u didn't like it' etc followed by days of awkwardness.
In all honesty, I think people would rather be told 'im going with another group of friends that asked first- I'd go with you if you picked a different movie and at another time'. No one likes being lied to their face. And in cases like these, the truth doesn't hurt. Also, if you just DON'T want to go then say so. Being half-hearted with the 'maybes' and 'ill sees' doesnt get you anywhere. I don't think being open is bad and people like me won't get offended if you're straight.

Very True

Eye don't see it

Hello there!
I haven't posted in a while and yes I've been busy with school but I thought I'd take some time to lay my thoughts on what's been going on. I'm really happy with how school has started and I'm good with the teachers I have :) Recently, apart from watching just about every episode of Judge Judy on youtube, I've started watching make up gurus and their tutorials. I saw some eyeshadow tutorials and I noticed that in order to achieve many of their looks, they use copious amounts of product which I don't really see as necessary. And I'm talking about their use of actual expensive eye shadow as a frigging 'base' for other colours. So Ill do a little imitating of what the girl in the video showed me. Bear with the sarcasm.

Now the first thing I'm gonna do is take a bit of my Dior cleanser just to remove those oils already on my eyelids. Notice that I'm going in a circular motion, just dabbing from the bridge of my nose outwards to the corner of my eye. Then, as you can see I'm taking a dab of Neutrogena facial moisturising cream so that my lids are frigging damp with moisture so the powdered eyeshadow doesn't dry out my lovely eyelids. This next step is one you MUST MUST do in order to achieve a flawless look that'll last you the night, I'm gonna  take my MAC primer (the skin coloured foundation) and just blend. This will provide a blank canvas for the rest of the colours so they last the night. Now, I'm taking my MAC mineralize eyeshadow in 'BeDazzle' just to provide a very soft pink base for the other dark purple colours that'll really bring out my EYES OH WOOPEE. Now take a blending brush and as you can see I'm using Chanel's 'metallic purple' to just cover my whole damn eye which I will later pound on with black and gold and silver and end up looking like a panda.

You get the point. She starts off with a pink base and ends up with a black eye cos it 'brings out the warmth in black'.-O.O-  Okay, I didn't mean to be..sarcastic/mean or whatever, but its quite funny how make up gurus use so much product on their eyes and I don't really see how all the prep and bases and paints contribute to the final look. In fact, I'm probably wrong. It probably does give it a warmth, a warmth that I can't quite see. Actually, it's a wonder why they don't fall asleep cos their eyes are so loaded and heavy with so much stuff on the lids.
