First of all this is not only New Year's Eve, but it's also the 100th Post for this blog!!

2010 may have been a year filled with regrets, broken promises and unfulfilled commitments but let this new year be a time where you can work on making yourself a better person. And i mean it. Whether its trying to be more generous or truthful to a person make that effort to become a new you.
My greatest fear of 2010 would have to be

My most memorable moments of 2010 would have to be
spent with those lovely people at school : camp, class, sport, everything. Thankyou to everyone thats been there for me and carried me forward when I fell down.

Now my foxtel just got unsubscribed so i couldnt watch the victoria's secret fashion show on fox 8 but I just watched the fireworks with Dopes, Rita and two Michael's at Dame Mary Gilmore Reserve on top of a hill. And now I leave you with a few quotes to end the year:

Now just a random thought to all of you that judge mostly girls that buy expensive stationery. I have this little theory that expensive stationery will obviously make you want to use it more often, hence STUDY. There is a possibility that this may have influenced this year's HSC results where there were ( i think) 2/3 of the 1st in Subjects lists were girls and only 1/3 boys. Food For Thought.

I keep wondering if anyone with a name that is in words eg the name tom is in tomato, tomorrow etc- do you ever get annoyed when people use those words and you continuously hear your name? Or do you just get used to it over time? I can think of so many - like Will has to cope with 'will', 'willing' etc.
And on the topic of names, you guys know how Mr Alder calls me Laura right? On my report, in the 'comment' part, I assume it automatically sets to 'Laura-Jane' but i think he deleted the 'Jane' bit cos he thinks my name is Laura.. =S

Okay guys this whole driving thing is like driving me insane. Everyone's complaining about how next year its 16 and 9 months, well im sorry but can u please STOP cos i cant even get mine. Can't you just wait a little while I mean use public transport-its cheaper and at the rate you'll probably be travelling, its a lot faster. My dad wanted to teach me how to drive and I'm a bit worried about that part cos Malaysian drivers are a bit insane. They travel way too fast and squeeze into the most ridiculous of spaces. And almost every street over there has one lane because double parking is normal. In the car I say slow the heck down cos theres a camera and dad says the camera's for the the cars in the opposite direction. How do you argue with that?

Tongue Twister

Firstly Merry Christmas to everyone! Well on Friday I thought of having lunch with daddy so we ate Shang Food in eastwood OMGOMG why is there no CHICKEN? Do shang's not eat chicken or something? Newais they had these really nice pork buns and when you chew into them all this water comes out ^^ Somebody, come with me to go eat there in the new year! Anyway, since im really poor now due to not being paid, I've decided to sell my old uniforms back to my old schools! Thats IF they give me the money back-or else ill look for someone who's going MLC next year. Private schools have WAY too many uniforms. Im also gona give back one ruse junior dress cos I hardly wore it - due to it being too big and sack-y. So i cleaned out my closet and I'm gona sell some stuff on ebay..they have a 2nd hand section right?

We had a Christmas celebration yesterday OMG you know what happened? Ok i bought myself a 2011 kikki k diary - 1 for myself to use and 1 for my cousin. Then at gift opening time, she buys ME the same thing and i give her the same thing so now i have 2 of the same diaries! Gona give it back and see if i can get something else in exchange..what a coincidence. Ahh ate soo much- and i love that white christmas stuff.Ok so u know how i had braces right-well i thought my teeth still looked crooked and i asked my cousin whos a dentist and apparnetly, if your lips are crooked or uneven, then so will your teeth! Basically your teeth follow the shape of your lips so if you have wonky lips, expect your teeth to be.



The other day, i was watching HIMYM and they were talking about urination. So my dad asks me what that is and he didn't quite say urination properly and it came out something like 'ya-ra-nation'. And i tried to teach him how to say it, so then i had to say urination like a billion times and it became sort of a tongue twister for me. Soon enough, I began to shout it cos it was so frustrating and i went
'UR AN ASIAN!!!!' Then I gave up and explained in chinese.

sooo since its the hols i have decided to cram a bunch of stuff that i want to do :D a checklist? of sorts i guess :)
and this idea was totally stolen off dayzeroproject.com , which in turn was discovered via monica's pm :)
butttt, SO MANY IDEAS :D and a lot of stuff you kinda want to do cause it sounds cool and fun to do? but you dont really THINK OF. and today i totally ticked three off the list :D
FOR THIS
1. Go To Max Brenner for brunch. ( the next thing i say might sound completely lame to someee) but max brenner brunch-ing is about as sophisticated and cool as it gets :D (for us unsophisticated and cool people :P) so me has and joy walk in, and order waffles with strawberries, bananas, melted chocolate and icecream and ATE IT, whilst talking about random day-to-day stuff meanwhile exclaiming over how cool we were :D lol, quite sure we sounded completely pathetic to anyone who could overhear us. andd now 2 ruse year 9's who were there probably think we're the epitome of uncool-ed-ness. but. WE BRUNHCED. AT. MAX BRENNER. OMIGOD:D lifeee does not get much cooler than that :D checklist: tick :)
MESSAGE
2. Go Gold Class. cause yknow. us day-to-day citizens are THAT rich :P but actually this one was completely un-intended. now i don't know if ive ever actually BEEN gold class before today, but me hasmeera and joyce (me has and joy) went in and saw ASHLEY AND EMILY (who were seeing a movie ;) ) and who recommended tron. so naturally, we go, and line up for tickets. the lady punches in all the stuff - but asks for like twenty something dollars D: and being the complete naive, somewhat easy-to-scam folk that we are, just paid her and walked off thinking we got ripped off. UNTIL. WE were directed to GOLD CLASS.
DUDE. the seats are these soft red couches that are the MOST COMFIEST THING EVER. and the distance between each person is so huge, that you probably needed a microphone to talk to someone two seats next to you - WHICH made it cooler :D and then we spent 10 minutes exclaiming over how cool we were that we SUBCONSCIOUSLY went into gold class (as though gold class was totally meant for us all along :D). soooo checklist: tick :)

3. this happened quite a few days ago. buttt i 'widened my culinary experience'. the aim here was : eat at an Asian restaurant, with people who know their Asian food and when you can share food. now, i realise this probably happens at every Asian restaurant. (oh and this was Rach's Not-Birthday Day Out - meaning she wasnt allowed to pay for our meal like she stupidly insisted she did :L )and. we ate. at a KOREAN restaurant. and here was i gushing over the .. korean-ness. when i saw. the table. had a METAL HOLE IN IT. and then kerry opens it. and theres a COOKERY THINGY. for MEAT. that you COOK. YOURSELF

Recycling

So I was cleaning my dad's study today, since I sorta use it (cos my room's too crowded)  and I realised that really really old rubber bands, when they're like petrified and cemented onto the desk, look like little worms. They turn out to be hard yellow pieces of noodle and when i was trying to take them off round containers, they just peel away. I also chucked around 50 pens that no longer work and i must say parker pens are a tank of a pen.

Hmm its very distracting when you have a bug in your room that isn't that bad so as to make you run out of the room, but its enough to make you look at it every 10 seconds. See, last night I was reading harry potter and i looked back to see if anyone 'appeared' at my door and i saw this cocroach on the floor. The problem with cocroaches is, they're too big to catch, and obviously to squish. I found the perfect solution! You get a tupperware container and plonk it on top of that cocroach and it will probably run around like a maniac up and down the container but it can't go anywhere! AND for extra protection put a heavy book ontop of the container- you know, just incase it gets all muscoolar and decides to lift it.
And THAT'S when you call Daddy to pick it up and chuck it outside =)

Ok you know all that 17yr old girl with the AFL stars and the nude photo scandal thing? To that girl; can you please just shut the heck up? Aren't you smart enough to realise that not only are you ruining the AFL players' lives, but you're ruining you're own? No one wants to know or respect you, to put it quite plainly, so move on with your life-you're the reason why news is so boring.

Sorry, sounded real mean just then but its really annoying me. I hope somebody feels the same way about her as i do. OOH I found this moschino cheap & chic scarf in my closet and you know how those rich kids tie them around their necks? I tried that and OMG it looks so AWESOME. Hey does anyone reckon Barney from how i met ur mother looks like Gordon Ramsay?!

When you meet me..

Ok you know that whole meeting a new person everyday experience? Well its been kept up so far, pretty well, except I don't like it when it people tell me i look like my mother. I find it really offensive so please dont ever tell me that, it isn't a great way to start the friendship.I reckon its not so great to talk about a person's features when you first meet them. The whole point is to try and figure out who THEY are, not who YOU think they are. And i got real mad when they started to call me Little Wendy ( mum's name) >< Also i'd rather have an awkward silence than talk about the weather. Please, just don't talk about the weather because its always 'AWFUL'.

I had this strange dream last night where I had a six pack- like a real natural six pack. OHMAGOSH it was so awesome so I started dancing. OOFT that beauty ;) I watched Undercover Boss  with the CEO of dominos going undercover and its a really good program-kinda emotional at times too. I started on my painting today, hated it at first, love it now. I drank a whole teapot of T2 tea . I was at Top Ryde City and this guy comes behind my chair and taps the butt part as a dare ARGH.  OH GUESS WHAT? I started reading Harry Potter right, and i found this birthday card in it from my 8th bday!

cause, you know how when you're young, the term 'love' doesnt mean anything :)

DRAMATIC IRONY

A number of things have happened recently and I'd like everyone to have a safe holiday. So if you're coming home late at night, walking along a dark street or have that inkling that a creepy man is following you, hopefully the following will help you!

1) With cars, always notice- brand, make, colour and most importantly, REGISTRATION. Memorise the plate number- its only 6 characters :D
2) If you're on a busy street and a car pulls up, dont worry- there'll be other cars around. If its night time and its secluded, don't be afraid to run across the road at any time (only if its REALLY secluded!). The dodgy car cant do that! Just don't wait for that red man to turn green. It might be an idea to practise sprinting LOL
3) Walk into a shop if you think someone's following you and stay there to call someone/until you think they've disappeared.
4) Girls, you know where to aim if a man grabs hold of you. :D
5) PICK UP KUNG FU +D

I am going Gold Coast these holidays- go theme parks, beaching and shopping! Any suggestions for theme parks? So far, I havent really done much but I'd like to do different things this summer-ill try get away from the usual movie + shopping. The beach, karoke, gym, painting and scrapbooking sound like a much cheaper and more memorable option. Does anyone realise how good the word summer is? Its so beautiful...so anyway, I am going to re-create my room and make it more summery! Start of by fixing that frangipani clock thats been broken for months, then getting rid of the usb sticks and paper clips from my seashell bowl, painting a beach setting on canvas and hanging it,  pinning photos of year 10 onto my sand-coloured thatched pinboard, refilling my thong sticky-note holder and buying a surfboard pencil tray. I'll find many of these things in Gold Coast :)
also, bunnings warehouse sells hammocks for 20 bucks. Must buy. I'll take a pic of these things as I do them.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
1) How its not the food that makes you full, but the water.
2) How we like taking showers in the morning, when its basically impossible to get dirty when we sleep.
3) How some badass people like to have car registrations that say words. I mean, if you're gonna steal a child, at least have a plate with characters that ISN'T memorable.
4) If the girlfriend sees her boyfriend talking with another girl, she blames the girl, not her boyfriend.
5) How we wouldn't give money to a homeless/ destitute looking person, but we'd happily throw a coin to the well groomed, innocent being.

hate how the ruse atmosphere and environment we live in means that we place so much of our self worth on our reports, and our academic standing. like i said to monica - theres GOT to be more to life that math D: and while that doesn't really cover the scope of the point im trying to make - everyone always gets so DEPRESSED when we get reports back:( though, admiteddly, this year wasnt as bad as last year. but like - everyone seems to always do 'okay'. there was noone HAPPY, noone thirlled noone truly SATISFIED i guess with their mark. i think ruse means you set high expectations for yourself that you cant ever really reach :/

Taking Chances

You know what I don't understand? Why big companies refuse to keep supporting famous people after theyve done something wrong. Like Chris Brown's new album is hardly advertised after he bashed Rihanna. And Tiger Woods lost all his sponsorships with the sports brands for his infidelities. I mean, its not like they're actually SUPPORTING women violence and cheating on your wife. Chris Brown's new album is amazing and waay better than some of the other crap everyone's so mad about. Tiger Woods is still a pretty good golfer. I'll always love those two men cos what they do out there is awesome. Don't you think they've already got enough from the media? Give these damn people back the things they deserve, cos everyone should get a second chance, right? . But thats my view of second chances I'm just saying, i think the industry has got all the wrong idea.

Harry Potter 7 today was FREAKING EPIC. However Hedwig's death was SO unrelenting like they just made her disappear. Dobby's death was so sad and i DID NOT cry. The movie was so scary though I swear it should be classified as part horror. There was this couple behind me that kept pressing/kicking on my seat. I hate it when that happens. Seriously, just keep your legs still!


Secret Santa was given out today and being the noob i am, I wrote 'Merry Christmas Samuel, from LJ' Who knew you werent supposed to write your name on it?! I also left all the price tags on the stationery =S Also I swear Max had me and asked Jeff to put it on my table hmm. But i love the nodding spiderman ! :D

Stolen Sanctuary

Woah I have never felt crapper and more frustrated. Heres a little replay of what happened yesterday night.

I was in my room writing those 38 christmas cards and listening to music and my ninja mother comes in and rips away my earphones explaining how it causes cancer o.O She goes outside before my dad comes in and kicks me out of my own room cos he feels like SLEEPING THERE o.O And then he gives me all this crap about why we shouldnt go holidaying because its flooding in Australia and how 767  planes are dangerous because theyre small WTH. And then he tells me about how its my fault for choosing a phone that breaks down. He goes 'why can't you choose a phone like mine- it DOES the same thing!' Im like oh dear papa o mine, i know you dont like texts and emails but YOUR PHONE HAS A FREAKING ANTENNA ON IT!' And then i storm out of my room and go outside to find a cocroach on the wall then run back into the study only to find another cocroach. This is when i burst into tears saying 'there are so many cocroaches!' I must have sounded so pathetic.
Today I called the exterminators ( as i like to call them) and theyre coming next week. Its surprising to know that cocroaches are in fact one of the cleanest animals around and they were in existence before the dinosaurs. Also, cockroaches are an excellent source of protein D=

Newais on a brighter note, maths was funny/interesting today cos we did polar co-ordinates and drew butterflies and spirals/seashells on graphs OMG Freya you are hilarious.I like laughing at slow people. It amuses me. My face got stamped, Alder dubbed Chris the model student and I realised this was our last friday double math with the 'two bells'. People still laughed at that even after a year O.O

today i figured out what the following meant:

I have a few new years resolutions that i've sorta started working on already: the main one being: meeting/befriending a new person each day. Today I met about 2 ( properly) but I am still gonna meet a few more tomorrow! Im not sure how, but even if it means talking to the dodgy looking guy on the train, then Im up for it =) I am also gonna make a photo album or scrapbook of Year 10, tidy up my room so it looks smexxily clean- maybe a bit of ikea may help, get Just Dance 2 Wii Game and...

Happy Birthday Rach! Please wear the awesome badge tomorrow!

Ok so heres what happened yesterday at presentation night. My phone is broken so i cant call, text or even retrieve someones number to call to ask what time it starts. The cursor is basically 'held down' all the time, even tho its not so it keeps scrolling and scrolling and its all epileptic cos the lights start flashing. I assume it starts at 7.30 so i rock up to school to find it started at 7 and stage band is playing 3rd last. I decide to go home cos im hungry and Chandrew tells me to come back at 8.30 but im like ohh nah ill LEAVE home at 8.30. So i do that and when i get to school, I ask Jo what are they up to and she said 'we're finished' and i hear Roy going 'thanks to stage band for showing us their marvellous talent'. OHMAGOSH.

Oh and today i went to the repair centre to get the phone fixed and its ONE DAY over the warranty period but i use my awesome charming skills to convince the man to extend the warranty for another month. SCORE =D. And since its being repaired, all the stuff i had on it will be gone and i'm sad for that cos there were some things I found hard to let go of. Oh for the sake of the phone.

Started thinking about next year and I'm gonna use one of those lever arch folders and colour code my exercise books- guys tbh, using paper isnt good cos its disorganised and sorta lazy. But thats only my opinion. I'm gonna work more consistently and not that hard cos i have this theory of the paper towel. Where liquid is like knowledge, if you absorb all the liquid, there reaches a saturation point. Same with knowledge. And the more you try to absorb, the frailer you get and i swear the knowledge starts to drain out after this point. Take it easy everyone, its year 11.

HAHA in ag today johnny started pronging all the small potatoes onto one garden fork and it looked hilarious and pretty disgusting but then he passed it to Dopes who held it for a few seconds before getting owned by Hameed ROFL. Ag is always fun

feel like going westfield parra and shopping now - but am already going thursday? i think. sooo its all good :) love how everyone is so christmassy - on the way home i saw a bus covered in tinsel and santa stickers! :D WHAT AN AWESOME BUS DRIVER. coolest bus ever :)

and all the busdrivers are so cheerful and say 'Goodmorning!' when you get on, and all the poor dudes dressed up in cotton santa suits standing outside in the summer sun outside a store waving at you. and free candycanes being handed out! :D and of course, shops being decorated in lovely christmas colours :) speakingggg of which, we wanted to steal parra westfield's christmas decorations for our formal - but i think thats illegal:/ but THEY ARE SO PRETTY :) anyone set up a christmas treeee?

sidenote: 10A secret santa is due monday :) if you have tinsel, please bring it in on monday, we are decorating our very own Christmas Kevin-Tree that day too :D lol i swear someone will just end up mummifying him in tinsel but whatevs :)

Or is it a bit rude? I had this dream last night where Edward Scissorhands, our school gardener died. I was very sad and I woke up half in tears. I need a nail clipper in my pencilcase. Oh Edward Scissorhands where are you when i need you! Bet you could give me perfectly shaped nails. HAHA today Brian's umbrella broke and I went high playing with it cos it was black and looked like a dementor and i said RIDICULUS! Then i went to the bathroom and laughed like moaning myrtle hehe. Oh i love the rain! Today my dad put my yogurt in the freezer cos he didnt know what it was

Ok time to change moods. This is more serious. 

There are some people that continually do charity work for most of their life because they feel the need to. Some of these people do it out of the good of their own heart. But a very small percentage, or i hope so, do it because it makes them feel better. Is that really what charity work is all about? I mean, sure, go for it if you think you're gonna feel good after it, but isnt the real meaning of charity work to help others? You see, some people do it because it makes up for the bad-ness within themselves, cos they've done something wrong.

Many people judge others for not doing charity work, or becoming fully involved. But to me, a good person is one that treats others fairly and with respect and knows right from wrong. Take religion. I hardly go to church. In fact i think the last time i went on my own will was Christmas. But I do pray each night and I know that God is always with me so don't give me the huge gasp or call me a sinner for not going to church regularly. You can still be a good person and not have to do the things deemed neccessary by everyone. You're not a sinner because you dont go to church. You're not a ignoramus for not doing charity work. If you're kind, loving and a believer, then you're good. Has anyone ever thought about it that way?
We do make mistakes here and there everyday, but God did create a certain species and it's called
'HUMAN'. Everybody is one.

havent blogged in a whileee and SO MUCH important life markers seem to have gone by since thenn. camp, formal, harrypotter7(part one)- which so counts as importantt! - birthday outings etc etc. crazy stuff :)

so many time markers have passed, important moments in our life, all compacted in two hectic weeks of fun and craziness :)! and its been EASY to forget about the fact we'll be sixteen-and-mature soon, and stuDying for the HSC - the HSC which has always seemed so far away, so foreign and out-of-this-world. the HSC as in the HSC - not just any old exam.

feeling like times running fast away from us - after the years of the HSC we'll all be old and graduating and applying for universities and crazy adult things begin :(

am in one of those sickeningly posItive moods where 'anything is possible' and you should 'take chances' and 'hope, dream, laugh and love'. ifff youre a cynic - youd hate me :/

Toast

How the heck have I changed since year 7? Quite a LOT actually. In year 7 no one from my school came to Ruse so I was quite quiet and felt really really awkward sitting next to guys for 2 main reasons:
1) Some were so bloody tall. Like Will who stood next to me in roll call. what a giant.
2) Their voices were so low D= haha i look back at that in laughter.
Every single math test I studied for and I limited my msn days to friday afternoons ONLY.

Year 8 was my outgoing year. I errupted in this burst of conversation and the most memorable moment was when were discussing what we had for breakfast :
Emery: I have toast.
(few seconds later)
Emery: What's toast? 
LJ: MUHAHAHAHAHHAHAA (i was physically on the floor laughing non-stop for 10 minutes)
And then another time i was explaining to emery what stockings were ( the girl ones). Took me friggen ages but in the end he was like 'ohh the things you hang on christmas trees' HAHAHHAHA But year 8 was quite a dramatic year for me

It's funny how i don't have many memories of year 9, but the best thing was making new friends ( and keeping my old ones!). I probably would've never known some people had i not been in their classes. I discovered that you gotta believe what is there, not what you want to believe which is the best hurdle I have overcome, by far.

Year 10 has been a freaking awesome year- formal, camp, having longer hair, a new love for jewellery and flowers and perfume. I've experimented more this year and if people are gonna judge me then I really don't care.

LUNA PARK was awesomesauce. I broke my upside down ride virginity on the Pirate Ship. OMGSH it was so scary when you went upside down cos i could feel myself slipping out of the seat D= The thrill of it all was so worth it and i'm definitely gonna take more chances next time.

FACE THE MUSIC

SG formal on Thursday was so motherfreaking awesome. I swear about 100 people were cramped into this little square dancing and I was suffocating in the middle, but it was worth it cos the DJ was THE BEST. One girl actually went in a tux and im like 'hey he's cute' but turns out its a girl! D= photos on fb.

Just came back from Peer Support camp and I must say I really enjoyed walking on the beach in pouring weather. Omgsh at night, there was this humunculus moth on the wall and I took one of the spare pillowcases to whack it but when I was staring up at it, it DIVED (dove?) down at fulli tabouli collision speed and went smack BANG in my face. D+ Slept in Rach's bed the rest of the night due to CORNER trauma. Our skit at night was so fun to prepare cos ours was based on a metaphorical interpretation of music P(ARRR)RACY. I was Captain Papa and he had a choice to either "face the music" or leave the group and his PAPERBAG FACE haha. We went high on funny jokes ( tune-ttes!) and the funniest thing was when Mr Wilson was mentioning something about drawing attention to yourself and he goes to the whiteboard and writes 'ATTENTION',  draws an arrow to the side of the board and stands next to it. LMAO Also i got the 17 minutes bridge crossing question so I'm happy that I'll probably be employed by Microsoft . The mood badge scenario was quite funny cos if you had bipolar, the badge would be epileptic! Thanks Tom for bringing up the idea C:

While I was in one of my acts of randomness ie dancing and singing along the corridoor, I bashed my hand real  hard into the brick wall and got a line of cuts across my fingers. It looks pretty cool =) And I have board shorts rash. You know what I realise? I have acquired 90210 Silver's voice! Listen to it and then listen to me, see if you notice any similarity. Report back =)

Im not a genius

Just a quick post about something I fully WTH'd about:
I have an IQ of 138 the last time I got tested, which was in year 3. 
An IQ of 138 does not classify you as a genius =(  although I am at the 99.4 percentile of people.
I simply have 'very superior intelligence'. An IQ of 150 and above is classified as genius. I'm actually quite happy not to be at the 99.99 percentile because I think you'd just act abnormal and I don't think any job would actually employ you, just cos you're probably smarter than the damn computer.

 I burnt 25 calories on beryl's bike machine and felt dizzy for 10 minutes after.wth...

I had this sudden feeling today, that i was in Malaysia. Its that crazy feeling of being somewhere you're not. It's the whole climate, smell and atmosphere. A freaking wonderful experience.

Game Plan

Wednesday; Alder raged (?) at us about, never being in math because we're "OFF ON A PICNIC" ie High Resolves. Apparently those who aren't in HR got better marks in the yearly than us resolvers. O.O And that M1 next year is very different to J =( . Then Alder went on to ask us the sum of root 3 and root 2 to 4 dp. D= Oh yeah and those Maths SC papers- they're TRICKY. They got hidden tricks boy! And then came the most epic game of volleyball EVER. I must say, it really wasn't my day but I'm glad I did one good dig which was in by the minimalist amount. We lost for the first time but had interesting convos with Yun, Annie, Mozzie, Leen, Yip and Crystal. How enjoyable.

I think the coolest thing I did all week was eat a mango in the car on Saturday, peeling it and eating it like an apple. It ain't that hard but your face does get a little sticky =P

QUIDDITCH WAS MEGA EPIC TODAY ESPECIALLY AT RECESS!!!
Lahoud and Matt ran around the oval like twice then around the school and disappeared for like 5 minutes then the snitch rested ( sat down) then got up as Lahoud was coming to grab it then up the bus bay area and down and Lahoud slipped and matt caught it!!! I lost count on how many times they fell and slightly gave up  but it was something like 7 .I think people were staring at me jumping around like a lunatic.

OK plan for the school cert:
1) Be a little stupid. Don't overthink the freaking answers and just write the most basic answer you can think of. Don't drink V or get drunk cos that would just ruin the whole point.
2) Read the freaking question and look out for things like 'closest to' or "which statement is INCORRECT'. If you can't choose an answer cos you don't get the question, look for the odd one out
3) Check the first question - people always get it wrong!
4) Make writing smaller but not so small that your page of writing looks empty.
5) If an english question asks, which is most humorous, test each answer and conduct a little 'laugh' in your brain. IF any actually make you LOL then thats 1 mark in the bag :) Or else your sense of humour is just screwed up. Like mine is !
6) Check to see if any bubbles are misaligned like the 1st question in  our science yearly.

7) Stretch neck and arms every half an hour.

What would you do?

They say that one's pride is one's downfall. Sometimes, I don't think that's the case. I'm not sure if you would classify the following case as one's pride but just think about what you would do if it applied to you. The question is basically asking you, are you willing to give up your sanity for something you know is true? And are you willing to live the rest of your life knowing that to everyone, you were a criminal?

I was watching 60 minutes about a few months ago and I clearly remember this man who was accused of sexual assault on a few women around Western Australia. Imagine you are the 20 year old man. You have been sentenced to a minimum of 30 years imprisonment and after you have completed 15 years, your case may be reviewed. However, you are innocent.

It has now come to that stage where you have spent those 15 years of your life in jail. You have wasted 15 years of your life in prison. You've missed out on so much of life's adventures and experiences. The court offers a deal: you confess your guilt and you are free. If you proclaim your innocence, you're in for another 15 years minimum. But you know you are innocent. What would you do?

You know that saying -you have to go backwards to go forwards? It really got me thinking about its meaning.

Dearest You,
Sure, it sounds corny to say that we are so close yet so distant, but in this case, it really does apply. I don't know how this happened but you just always talk about things I'm really not interested in and trust me, it's not that I haven't tried. I have gone all out trying to involve you in things i'm interested in and you just brush it aside and honestly, keep interrupting me.

We're on two different planets yet live in the same city and I can go a whole afternoon not talking to you which is ages in girl years. Why do you have to dump all your problems on me? I'm not and never will be your punching bag nor counsellor, and you need to accept that.
You know what I find most difficult? It's how at times, I don't see you for months on end. I do miss your presence.But when you are with me, you feed me things- material things thinking that it somehow makes up for the disconnection but in actual fact, makes me feel guilty for not treating you as a person whom i truly love. So that's how we're both losing. Your possessions. My heart.

So, about that saying; I'm not sure it applies to our situation. We both wish to go back and pick up where we left off but we're so different and neither of us are willing to change so much. We've reached that inevitable point where we have to accept that the spark isn't there any more. Changing your heart is just too damn difficult. 
All relationships must grow, right? When I was young, we used to be so close and to be honest, I'm not sure who it was that grew older but I know one thing that did grow.

Theory of Saying Sorry

Today in science, my mind drifted off for about 10 minutes and I kept thinking about existence. I hate it how sometimes you wonder WTH you are doing existing. Like you're thinking what the heck am I doing? Why am I here? And all of a sudden you feel self-conscious that you might just be doing something stupid..I hope at least one person feels like this sometimes.

Wow don't you just hate it when you bash into someone and you're the one who says sorry but really its not your fault? I bashed into this girl in the changeroom today and she fulli tabouli knocked my sushi outta my hand and I instinctively said sorry and she just stared at me like im some kinda weirdo. AFNOINSDSFINO! I remember last time i banged into this girl carrying a crapload of books in the changeroom and all her books fell down and I said sorry and she just gave me the dirtiest look ever. However i did help her pick up all her books. Next time i swear I'm gonna pick em all up and drop them all down again. I hate these kinda people. And it wasn't my fault- I didnt bang into her! It was a MUTUAL BANG for bloody sake. Gosh why couldn't it have been a guy at the very least..would have been much more romantic...haha.

Highlight of the day: When Michael Na tried jumping on a drama block to scare kevin yu and he landed on it, sat on it for half a second before falling off backwards BAHAHA. Also we got our wonderful formal tickets which smelt very naice and I loved the owl post.
Watching harry potter 1 now and its pretty funny. And the quidditch keeper dude is hot hehe.

Now, I need a machine that can create what I am thinking.

HEY DID ANYONE SPIKE MY EASYWAY WITH LIKE ECSTASY OR SOMETHING?? Lmao I'm feeling really high now and every so often I'm getting up, running around the house and sitting down to write this again D= Also, I keep shaking my leg and everyone knows how I wouldn't be caught dead doing that haha.
Hey you know how everyone knows how to twirl pens and stuff?  Well heres my guide to reading 'pen language' and 'exam language' ( note: you may want to do this as a practical to ensure maximum understanding):

CHAPTER 1: EXAM LANGUAGE
a) Head close to table with fingers sprawled on page = a maths diagram- probably circle geometry and they cant figure the angle out
b) Scratching head = you guessed it- theyre stuck for ideas on how to start
c) One hand writing, one hand firmly on page = theyre freaking on top of this
d) Lying on the desk = ive given up fo sho
e) Shaking their leg = im pressed for time D= i think this is bloody annoying- its literally like an earthquake. it creates after shocks in adjoining regions of the room causing STATIONERY objects to quiver.


CHAPTER 2: PEN LANGUAGE
a) Swinging pen back and forth hitting the page then rebounding each time = this question is tricky and i know how to work it out but its gona take ages. should i bother?
b) Simple twirling =  'yeah im reading this and i understand but i'm a bit nervous I'll hit something i won't quite understand
c) Taking pen lid on and off with pinky finger = 'wtf does this mean?'
d) Tapping the desk with the pen lid ontop of the pen = %$@! im screwed

I find it quite the funny when the person next to you has been sitting there for like 10 minutes with nothing to do and all of a sudden they jump up and start attacking the paper cos they got something wrong. I remember someone doing that in Selective and they fell off their chair heehee

Also I'm really sad that I cant fit into my formal dress anymore- its too big for me =( Looks like I'm gonna have to youtube 'taking a dress in' so it doesnt fall off if I dance.

Do you know what i have respect for? People that dont give a stuff about what others think of them.It suddenly hit me because they sure are intelligent- i mean if you think about it, what others see as your weakness or weirdness isnt really your problem. It is someone elses' problem they have with you. It reminded me of a time many years ago when this girl had issues with me...and in fact with a lot of other people. And one day she just went around calling people weird and giving them crap about themselves. And being the rebellious girl i was back then i went up to her and said something along the lines of:
"Look if you think everyone else is weird then YOU'RE actually the one that's weird."
 It makes sense...doesn't it?

Hey-whats the best way to end a conversation with a telecommunicator without being rude? I figured out a few possibilities:
1) Hang up
2) Put the phone down and walk away leaving them to talk to themselves
3) Keep yourself only listening to see how long they take to realise theyre talking to themselves
4) Pretend you're the cleaner
5) Just say 'im not interested'.
The majority of the time i just hang up. Next time im gonna make noises- as if theres a disconnection, then go 'i cant hear you!' before hanging up. =D

The other night i was doing a math paper. I was sitting in my dad's study room cos my room's too messy to do work and i ceebs cleaning. I got up to get my red pen from my room to rule my margins but when i came back, they were already ruled. Not just one page,  four. How does this happen?

The Career Experiment

YAYAYAY NO BRACESS =D Came off yesterday after a year and 7 months and lookin pretty good but i want to get them whitened for the sake of whiter teeth. Why just be white when you can go whiter than white? EHHneway, went to Cabaret and OMGSH i got there running in my heels only to the sounds of stage band TUNING. Vaish ripped my bag out of my hands and i had to dash to the front with my sax only to hear that if i had been sitting in that spot like a minute earlier i probably would need plastic surgery. Cheuk said the light bulb above my head had cracked and shattered to pieces so if i was sitting there it wouldve landed on my head. And the whole 'new look' experience of no braces would come to an abrupt end cos my face woulda been cut by the pieces of glass. NOW who's to say being late is always a bad thing?

Ok in ag we were talking about what we'd like to study in uni and what the interviews would be like. I really have to plan this out. For example they may ask what was the last book you read. I have no idea what to say- i mean i cant say a classic like pride and prejudice because you probably shouldve read that sometime in high school so i have to time things perfectly. Basically i have to read a book like a week b4 the interview cos if someone asked me that i'd probably just say 'why read when theres movies?'

Also- i dont want to do medicine. First it takes far too long and say it takes you 15 years to study/establish you'll be what 33 at the least. Your career will probs only be for like 30 odd years after that so if you think about it, you have been studying for 'half' of your career. You went to school for 13 years so 28 years studying = 30 years of a career. It doesnt seem worthwhile to me. If you do  business/law or something like that, it takes 5 years for a double degree plus maybe 2/3 years for internship or just another degree. Honey, ill be making money for an extra 7 years while you'll still be nerding away at anatomy. And to those who say 'oh you didnt include time for 'building up'" well medicine also takes time to build up and get to know people. Specialists get their business from GP's that refer patients =)
I realise that if i werent at ruse id probs be a fashion journalist or actor (if i could) cos when you come here theres basically 2 options - law or med. But its good how i actually like economics and want to do something in that field. lol damn why the hell do we have to be so smart?

buttt - as a part of studying physics - which OBVIOUSLY is an important part of the year 10 curriculum, and an important part of our education (;- we are goinggg -as a gradeee -to LUNA PARK :D! HOW AWESOME- THIS IS SO COOL(::: its after SC and yearlies and formal and everything! and therefore, everyone is obviously getting a note from their parents allowing them to stay at lunapark after 3pm anddd go on all the rides :D havent been lunapark in agess(:

PRINTED DOGS ON TOILET PAPER
Can i question the point of cute little dogs and paw prints on toilet paper? TO ENCOURAGE KIDS TO WIPE THEIR OWN BUTTS? Seriously, its just ruining artwork. Toilet paper should be kept plain because face it, your not gonna stare at the doggies for ages and they're literally going down the drain.

LOL i remember in yr 7 i had this fettish with roulette and i based my clock on it. Man i miss grit paper and how it made everything smooooth. When we made the box i cbb spelling LAURA cos A's were too hard so i wrote the simple LOL on it.

oh i hate it when you hav a million windows open and random music starts playing and you dont know which window it is...

Stereo Wars

LOL today was interesting and what you read may not come to anything but im fricken proud! I came home from work in the surgery and i was playing some music on my mobile while randomly doing some math.And then i hear strange noises- i get a little paranoid bout these things cos no one was home either. I turned my music off and i hear this 'noise' coming from outside and i figure its my neighbour-  and he's painting his front door while listening to some old freaking music that sounds crapper than Little Red. But then heres the fun part- i started drowning him out with OMG, Magic etc all those loud songs. And i swear he can see me from the balcony and he can somehow hear it so he turns his stupid music UP. With my vulcan hearing, i notice the increased loudness of his crap so i turn mine up-i even add my laptop and stero and synchronise it  =D After like half an hour, i won the battle of the music cos i fully drowned him out- and i learnt that when its cold, sound travels faster and its as if the sound source was right next to you XD That would explain a few things in DOE cos i kept freaking out at night that there was a possum on my face or in my sleeping bag HAHA.

Anyway i tried the Chatime Pearl Milk tea with red bean. I must say the pearls are a little undercooked and arent chewy or big enough..and the milk tea aint sweet enough.And it wasnt full- and i mean it had like 1.5cm of empty vacuous space at the top and you know how the diameter of the cup increases as the height does. ie. you get the most at the top! Thank goodness for the red beans, it gets a 6/10 ( based on taste, texture and quantity)

I hope someone agrees with me that the screening of the Commonwealth Games is an extremely gigantic waste of television time. Masterchef, Neighbours, Glee, Modern Family ..like EVERYTHING is gone because we'd rather watch cyclists go round the track 154 times. LOL and who notices that like NOBODY is watching..what a waste of money.

Ok i've started thinking about retired life. And I NEVER WANT TO RETIRE! Like dude, wth are you going to do for what 20 odd years? You cant travel for that long- all thats left is to you know pass on. I can't see anything else remotely interesting. I'm sure my view atm will change in 50 years time but for now, i plan to retire at 85. Hmm and 85 yr old banker... HEY the oldest athlete at CWLTH games is 72!
OH and to my kids- i aint leaving you a bloody cent MUHAHAHAHA IM SO EVIL CANEVIL!

went formal dress shops with carmen on friday - and met the freakiest shop assistent ever who would not stop HELPING us. she practically whipped the curtains off the changerooms and began layering on the compliments and telling us the dress would 'undoubtedly' be out of stock if we didnt buy it 'that very minute'. honestllyyD: do sales assistents get paid on commission?

i dont know if anyone does this anymore - but on friday me and carms alsoo bought BOOKS :D
